Felix Capital, el socio de Farfetch, ‘levanta’ 300 millones para invertir en ‘lifestyle’
Felix Capital, accionista de grupos como Farfetch, recauda 300 millones de libras (351 millones de euros) para una nueva ronda de inversiónes. Con esta cifra, el fondo de capital riesgo duplica el total de su capital a 600 millones de libras (702 millones de euros).
La firma respalda compañías de lifestyle digital y así lo demostró con inversiones tempranas en compañías como Farfetch, Peloton, Highsnobiety o Goop. “Hay una tendencia masiva alrededor del bienestar, especialmente en las nuevas generaciones”, aseguró Frederic Court, fundador del fondo, a Fortune.
El equipo de Felix Capital, liderado por Court, está compuesto por otros seis miembros: Antonie Nussenbaum, antiguo socio de Atlas Global; Sasha Astafyeva, ex directora de business intelligence and strategy en Lyst; la española Carmen Alfonso, ex Morgan Stanley y cofundadora de TEDxMorganStanleyLondon; Jon Kamaluddin, ex director internacional de Asos; Les Gabb, antiguo socio de Advent Venture, y Phylia Phoon, que también trabajó en Advent Venture.
