La moda supera en 48 horas el umbral de los 10.000 afectados por los Ertes
Dos días y 10.000 empleos menos en el negocio de la moda. Apenas cuatro días después de que se decretara el estado de alarma en España y el cierre de todas las tiendas en el país, el sector acumula ya más de 10.000 puestos de trabajo suspendidos por expedientes de regulación temporal de empleo (Erte).
A la espera de que Inditex, Mango o El Corte Inglés tomen medidas similares, ya son cinco grupos del sector los que han anunciado Ertes, en la mayoría sobre su personal de tiendas. El mayor de todos ellos es el de Tendam, la tercera mayor compañía de distribución de moda en España.
La compañía, matriz de Cortefiel, Women’secret, Pedro del Hierro, Springfield y Fifty, anunció el lunes un Erte sobre 7.000 personas, que afectará a todo el personal de tienda y a los empleados de oficinas vinculados con los establecimientos. La empresa opera con 882 tiendas propias en España.

Por su parte, Liwe Española, otro de los mayores grupos del sector en España y que opera con la cadena de moda Inside, presentó ayer martes otro expediente sobre 1.900 trabajadores, el 94% de su plantilla en España. En los cuatro países en los que opera la cadena se ha decretado el cierre de tiendas.
En concreto, la compañía opera con 394 tiendas en España, 25 en Portugal, 25 en Italia y tres en Grecia. En un comunicado remitido a la Cnmv, Liwe detalla que, aunque el cierre de comercio está inicialmente previsto para quince días, “es previsible que pueda prorrogarse por un periodo más largo del inicialmente previsto”.
En el caso de Adolfo Domínguez, el Erte afecta únicamente al personal de tienda, en concreto 728 empleados, un 61% de la plantilla. La compañía ha activado esta medida hasta el próximo mayo, en el caso de que el cierre de sus 188 establecimientos en España tenga que prolongarse.
Liwe Española aplicará el expediente al 94% de su plantilla
Las últimas en sumarse a esta herramienta han sido Bimba y Lola y Roberto Verino. La compañía de las hermanas Domínguez inició ayer la aplicación del Erte, que afectará a todos los trabajadores de sus tiendas en España.
“Es una medida de fuerza mayor, que se produce tras el cierre provisional de los 206 puntos de venta que la compañía tiene en toda la Unión Europea”, ha explicado la empresa en un comunicado. Roberto Verino también lo ha comunicado hoy a su plantilla, según fuentes sindicales, si bien no se ha cuantificado todavía su impacto.
El Erte es una medida de suspensión del empleo de carácter temporal ante una situación excepcional. A diferencia de un expediente de regulación de empleo (ERE), no requiere mesa de negociación con los sindicatos y contempla que todos los afectados se reincorporen a sus funciones tan pronto como se recupere el funcionamiento normal de la empresa.
Los sindicatos esperan una oleada de nuevos expedientes en los próximos días, una vez que se publique en el Boletín Oficial del Estado (BOE) las medidas anunciadas ayer por el presidente Pedro Sánchez para paliar la crisis. En concreto, el presidente ha anunciado que la emergencia sanitaria actual será contemplada como causa de fuerza mayor y que se agilizarán los procedimientos.
