Los precios de la moda suben un 0,9% en 2019 y encadenan seis años al alza
Los precios de la moda finalizan 2019 al alza. El Índice de Precios de Consumo (IPC) del vestido y el calzado se elevó un 0,9% el pasado diciembre respecto al mismo mes de 2018. Se trata del sexto año consecutivo con los precios del sector en ascenso.
El IPC de la moda cerró 2018 con un incremento del 0,5%. En 2014, 2015 y 2016, la ropa y el calzado incrementaron sus precios un 0,2%, un 0,5% y un 0,9%, respectivamente. En 2017, los precios del sector marcaron una inflación del 0,5%.
El IPC general, por su parte, cerró el año con un incremento del 0,8%. Por sectores, el transporte y la vivienda lideraron el ascenso de los precios en los últimos doce meses, según datos divulgados por el Instituto Nacional de Estadística (INE).
Las prendas de vestir fue el producto más inflacionista en el último mes del año, cuando sus precios marcaron un ascenso del 1%. Los precios del calzado, por su parte, cerraron diciembre con un incremento del 0,8%.
Por grupos más concretos de actividad, el que lideró la subida de precios fue la limpieza, reparación y alquiler de artículos de vestir, con un crecimiento interanual del 2,4%. Le siguió la reparación y alquiler de calzado, que marcó un crecimiento del 2%.

Las prendas de vestir de mujer, por su parte, registraron un incremento de sus precios del 1,2%, mientras que los precios de las prendas de vestir de hombre y niño ascendieron un 0,6% y un 1%, respectivamente.
En cuanto al calzado, los precios del calzado femenino crecieron un 1,1% interanual. En el caso de calzado masculino e infantil también se situaron al alza en 2018, con subidas del 0,6% en ambos subsectores.
