Momad mantiene el empuje en una edición de transición con 15.300 visitantes
La moda vuelve a brillar en Madrid. La última edición de la feria Momad, que finalizó el pasado sábado su última edición, ha reunido en esta convocatoria a 15.300 visitantes, según las estimaciones de la organización.
Esta ha sido una edición de primeras veces para Momad. El certamen reordenó sus fechas, retrasándose en el calendario, y se celebró de jueves a sábado y no de viernes a domingo como venía siendo habitual.
Además, esta fue la primera vez que el evento se celebraba bajo la dirección de Ana Larrañaga, que tomó las riendas de los salones de moda y belleza de Ifema tras la salida este verano de Charo Izquierdo.
Momad celebró su primera edición bajo la dirección de Ana Larrañaga
Momad contó en esta ocasión con 800 marcas expositoras procedentes de 37 países. Además, la feria afianzó su apuesta por la moda sostenible, con un aumento del 30% en el número de firmas participantes en su área Sustainable Experience. El sector de moda baño y lencería, por su parte, contó con un mayor espacio expositivo.
En la última convocatoria de septiembre de 2018, cuando las ferias de moda y calzado se celebraron conjuntamente, ambas congregaron a 15.120 visitantes. En la edición del pasado febrero, Momad atrajo a 15.520 profesionales, de los cuales un 2% provenía del extranjero.
A finales del año pasado, Ifema redefinió ambos certámenes, renombrando la feria de calzado como ShoesRoom by Momad y trasladándola a las instalaciones de La Nave, fuera del recinto ferial. La feria de moda, por su parte, abandonó el apellido Metrópolis, pasando a llamarse simplemente Momad.
La organización subraya el aumento de marcas participantes en el área sostenible
En el marco de la feria, la organización explicó también el proyecto para Gran Canaria Moda Cálida. Ifema se hizo con la gestión del evento en concurso público por 630.000 euros, convirtiéndose en la primera institución ajena al Cabildo De Gran Canaria que pilotará la pasarela.
El concurso que ganó Ifema tiene sólo una duración de un año, aunque la voluntad de la institución ferial madrileña es volverse a presentar en las próximas convocatorias.
