Senado aprueba extensión del Estado de Emergencia por 25 días más en el país
El Senado de la República aprobó en la sesión de este domingo el proyecto de resolución que extiende por 25 días más el estado de emergencia en el país por el COVID-19.
La Cámara Alta aprobó la solicitud que fue hecha el viernes por el Poder Ejecutivo, ya que la actual resolución concluye este 30 de abril. La propuesta pasa ahora a la Cámara de Diputados. De ser aprobada, esta resolución entraría en vigencia el 1 de mayo y culminaría el 25. Esta es la segunda vez que se pide extensión del plazo, que en marzo fue aprobado por 25 días y luego en abril por 17.
La primera declaratoria emergencia nacional, resolutada por el Congreso Nacional a petición del presidente Danilo Medina, venció el 13 de abril.
