Melba Segura de Grullón, fundadora de Sur Futuro, por su lado tiene casi 20 años ayudando a personas en situación de vulnerabilidad y contribuyendo a su vez a la protección del medio ambiente y los recursos naturales en todo el país.
Para estas dos mujeres, el éxito se encuentra en el acompañamiento continuo en todas las actividades que realizan, desde el propósito de crear un modelo de enseñanza y concientización a quienes impactan con sus programas.
Al preguntarle a doña Pirigua por la diferencia entre de la filantropía y la responsabilidad social empresarial, ella explicó que “la primera sale del corazón, la segunda se transmite a la empresa” además para ella su éxito depende de que “desde el más alto directivo hasta el más pequeño esté consciente de la RSE y la aplique en todos los ámbitos”.
Estas “embajadoras del cambio” resaltaron el trabajo en conjunto de todas las partes; por un lado el gobierno creando políticas educativas de la mano de Fundación Propagas, especialmente en educación ambiental; y también el sector privado acompañando importantes programas de ambas fundaciones.
