Disruptivo fue el lanzamiento del Walkman de Sony, la presentación de la primera cámara Polaroid, la introducción del Open Source con Linux o el desarrollo del motor de reacción.

La consultora Gartnet plasmó en «Wilflful disruption: seven digital disruptions you might not see coming», un documento de que sin lugar a dudas, los CIO (directores de sistemas de información, por sus siglas en inglés) tiene que tomar nota.

Aquellos que son capaces de prever tendencias y mucho mejor, identificar aquello que puede ser disruptivo en el futuro tienen desde luego mucho ganado. Y buena parte del trabajo de consultoras como Gartner, se basa precisamente en eso. Actuando como óraculos modernos, agitando en una «bola de cristal» la información que ya tienen, las tendencias que intuyen y el comportamiento del mercado, intentan anticiparse a lo que viene.

Es esto último lo que precisamente la consultora acaba de plasmar en “Willful disruption: seven digital disruptions you might not see coming”. Un documento del que sin lugar a dudas, los CIO (director de sistemas de información, en su sigla en inglés) tienen que tomar nota.
