Empresariado hispano, uno de los más afectados en el mercado de los EEUU por COVID-19

Restaurantes, boutiques, sector de la construcción, servicios de mantenimiento como : jardinería y plomería, sector agropecuario, servicios de limpieza e incluso ayuntamientos, han visto afectadas sus funciones regulares de control y venta de productos a causa de los efectos adversos provocados por la pandemia del COVID-19 o coronavirus.

La crisis sanitaria, aumentada exponencialmente en las últimas semanas, ha traído consigo problemas en la oferta-demanda de pequeños y medianos negocios en los que los propietarios y la mayoría de los colaboradores son hispanos. Los dueños de negocios de comidas típicas se han visto en la urgente necesidad de recurrir a cancelaciones de personal por temor al contagio, por el déficit en el ingreso promedio estimado para estos meses de comienzos de mitad de año y por el papel que jugará, desde ahora, el ahorro de dinero para la supervivencia básica sin contemplar los ingresos mensuales regulares y  la esperada recuperación de sus negocios.

Al empresariado hispano de medianos y pequeños negocios también le preocupa la amenaza constante de una recesión económica. Negocios que ostentaban un ingreso promedio por ventas de alimentos elaborados en restaurantes de más de 800 dólares mensuales, esta crisis sanitaria desembocada por la rápida expansión del COVID-19 les ha reducido considerablemente esa cifra a unos 300 dólares mensuales. No es raro encontrarse en las declaraciones de estos dueños hispanos de empresas la intención de cerrar esos negocios, algunos que llevan laborando en los Estados Unidos más de 20 años, para regresar a su origen.

Pero no solo se debe hablar de los empleadores hispanos, sino también de sus colaboradores, muchos también hispanos. Muchos se han visto en la necesidad de cancelar salarios temporalmente o reducirlos a la mitad del pago, y hasta menos, de la mensualidad.

Ante estas medidas de austeridad económica impuestas por necesidad y hasta cierto punto como estrategia de confrontación a esta crisis, perjudicial sobre todo en el sector servicios, cabe el interés por famillias hispanas de ingresos limitados que cuentan únicamente con los salarios que han sido reducidos a la mitad de lo firmado en contrato o en algunos casos se han cancelado por emergencia y viven al día de sus gastos.

Un número que asciende a mas de 100,000 colaboradores a lo largo del mercado estadounidense se dedican a labores temporales como: mantenimiento (que incluye carpinteria, albañileria, pintura y electricidad), trabajos domésticos, cocina y agricultura verán severamente afectados sus ingresos valorados en 700 dólares mensuales.

Se han estimado y comenzado a implementar medidas que imponen un lapso de 3 meses sin pago de renta de locales donde están situados los negocios.
