OPS pide cautela al reducir restricciones por COVID-19 ante trasmisión «aún alta» en las Américas
La Organización Panamericana de la Salud (OPS) urgió el martes a los países de las Américas a «ser cautelosos» con el desescalamiento de la medidas para contener la propagación del COVID-19, advirtiendo que la trasmisión «es aún muy alta» en Estados Unidos, Canadá, Brasil, Ecuador, Perú, Chile y México.

Etienne hizo sonar la alarma en particular sobre Haití, donde la OPS teme un estallido de casos. «Existe un peligro real de un brote a gran escala seguido de una crisis humanitaria en Haití», afirmó.
