La Romana recibe más de 2.2 millones de cruceristas en los últimos siete años
La Presidencia de la República dio a conocer que durante el período 2012-2019 La Romana ha recibido más de 2.2 millones de cruceristas y 796,108 visitantes, lo representa un paso más cerca a la meta país de alcanzar los 10 millones de turistas.
Asimismo, dijo que en los últimos siete años en esta ciudad se han construido 1,653 habitaciones lo que dinamiza la economía dominicana.
De su lado, el Ministerio de Turismo dijo en días pasados que alrededor de 985 mil turistas han visitado a Samaná durante el mismo periodo, de éstos corresponden 495,926 cruceristas.
Samaná ha atraído a nuevos inversionistas que han elevado a 3,278 habitaciones para el crecimiento y el desarrollo de turismo en esa ciudad.
Con la construcción del nuevo proyecto Hacienda Samaná Bay, el cual contará con 228 condos en el malecón sumarán alrededor de 650 empleos directos e indirectos.
