Hugo Boss lanza un ‘profit warning’ por la incertidumbre y la crisis de Hong Kong
Hugo Boss revisa sus previsiones. La compañía alemana, que cotiza en la bolsa de Fránkfurt, lanzó el pasado viernes un nuevo profit warning, anticipando una caída de su beneficio operativo del 5% este año. Inicialmente, la empresa había proyectado un crecimiento de entre “un solo dígito alto”.
La empresa también ha anunciado que sus ventas, descontando los tipos de cambio, crecerán “a un solo dígito bajo”. Hugo Boss ha atribuido esta revisión al debilitamiento de la demanda en Norteamérica y a que el negocio en Hong Kong “ha sido sustancialmente afectado negativamente desde el inicio de las manifestaciones”.

Tras el anuncio, las acciones de Hugo Boss se hundieron un 13% en la bolsa de Fránkfurt, hasta su nivel más bajo en nueve años. Hace un año, el grupo anunció un nuevo plan estratégico con el objetivo de elevar las ventas entre un 5% y un 7% cada año hasta 2022.
“Pese a las incertidumbres macroeconómicas a las que nos estamos enfrentando, nos mantenemos enfocados en ejecutar con éxito nuestras iniciativas estratégicas”, apuntó Mark Langer consejero delegado del grupo.
