Hawkers continúa pisando la calle: abre una nueva tienda en Madrid
Hawkers continúa su apuesta por el offline. La compañía ilicitana de óptica ha dado un paso más en su estrategia de expansión con retail con la apertura de un nuevo establecimiento en Madrid.
En concreto, el grupo se ha instalado en el centro comercial Islazul, en un establecimiento de sesenta metros cuadrados de superficie, donde compartirá vía con otros retailers como Primark, Kiabi o C&A.
La nueva tienda de Hawkers se suma a los casi cuarenta establecimientos con los que cuenta la compañía en España. En los últimos meses, la empresa ha acelerado con retail mediante la apertura de tiendas en Gudalajara, Tenerife y Canarias.
Hawkers, propiedad del empresario venezolano Alejandro Betancourt, cerró 2016 con una facturación de 31,43 millones de euros, y unas pérdidas de 4,04 millones de euros, según las últimas cuentas disponibles en el Registro Mercantil. Por otro lado, la matriz del grupo, Saldum Ventures acabó 2015 con una facturación de 794.000 euros, frente a los 5,36 millones de euros de 2014.
