Decathlon alcanza las 170 tiendas en España con una apertura en Barcelona
Decathlon sigue reforzando su red de tiendas. El gigante francés de la distribución de artículos deportivos ha inaugurado un establecimiento en Sant Cugat del Vallès (Barcelona), con el que alcanza las 170 tiendas en España.
El local cuenta con 2.700 metros cuadrados y dará empleo a 68 trabajadores. En él se podrán acceder a las 110 disciplinas deportivas que actualmente cubre Decathlon, aunque se dará un lugar destacado a los deportes de montaña y nieve. Además de esta apertura, ya hay confirmada otra en Jaén.
El gigante francés redujo un 3% sus ventas en el mercado español en el ejercicio 2018 registrando una cifra de negocio de 1.559 millones de euros. Se trata de la primera caída de los ingresos del grupo en el país en siete años. La empresa hundió también su beneficio neto en España un 19%, pasando de 120 millones de euros en 2017 a 96,6 millones de euros en 2018.
