El turismo en España aumenta un 1,2% y el gasto crece un 3% hasta noviembre
Más turistas, y más gasto. España ha recibido 79,3 millones de turistas extranjeros hasta noviembre, un 1,2% más que en los once primeros meses de 2018, según los últimos datos publicados por el Instituto Nacional de Estadística (INE). El gasto ascendió a 87.265 millones de euros, un 3% más que en el mismo periodo de 2018.
Según el INE, en noviembre visitaron el país 4,7 millones de extranjeros, un 2,8% más que en el mismo mes de 2018. El gasto se situó en 5.068 millones, un incremento del 3,7% respecto a lo que desembolsaron los turistas en noviembre de 2018.
A falta de conocer los datos del mes de diciembre y hacer el cómputo final, el sector turístico español se ha situado a tan sólo 3,4 millones de llegadas para superar el récord alcanzado en 2018, cuando visitaron España 82,8 millones de viajeros internacionales. Por lo que respecta al gasto, el INE prevé que el sector rebasará en diciembre la cifra récord que se obtuvo en 2018, que fue de 89.856 millones de euros.
