Bimba y Lola crece un 12,6% en 2019 aupada por la expansión internacional

Bimba y Lola sigue creciendo gracias al extranjero. La compañía de moda femenina ha cerrado 2019 con unas ventas de 226,7 millones de euros, un 12,6% más que el año anterior. La expansión ha vuelto a estar aupada por el mercado internacional, que copa el 33% de las ventas de la empresa.

En el ejercicio fiscal finalizado el 29 de febrero, la empresa registró una evolución positiva en “prácticamente todos los 18 países” en los que está presente, tanto a través de sus tiendas como de su canal digital.

Bimba y Lola opera actualmente con 285 puntos de venta, frente a las 272 tiendas del año anterior, y 117 de ellos están ubicados fuera del mercado español, según ha explicado la compañía en un comunicado.

La empresa echó a andar en 2005 de la mano de las hermanas Uxía y María Domínguez, hijas de Jesús Domínguez, cofundador de Sociedad Textil Lonia, y sobrinas de Adolfo Domínguez. Actualmente, Bimba y Lola está capitaneada por José Manuel Martínez Gutiérrez y desde este año cuenta con un consejo de administración con José María Castellano, Eva Hernando y Cristina Trujillo como miembros independientes.
