La española Lesac se impone a Armani en un conflicto de marca
El Tribuna General de la Unión Europea (TUE) ha fallado hoy a favor de la compañía española Lesac en un conflicto que mantiene con el grupo italiano Giorgio Armani por el registro como marca de la Unión Europea (UE) de dos signos figurativos de la sociedad italiana que contienen las palabras Le Sac, según ha adelantado Europa Press.
En 2014, Armani solicitó a la Oficina de Propiedad Intelectual de la UE (Euipo) el registro de las dos imágenes para artículos de marroquinería y de viaje, así como prendas de vestir. En aquel momento, la española Lesac se opuso por riesgo de confusión con sus marcas registradas.
La Euipo estimó la oposición en ambos casos y después rechazó los recursos presentados por la sociedad italiana. El tribunal basado en Luxemburgo ha desestimado hoy los recursos que Giorgio Armani había interpuesto ante Europa contra las decisiones de la Euipo.
Con sede en Madrid, Lesac cuenta actualmente con tres puntos de venta propios, ubicados todos ellos en la capital española, en las calles Augusto Figueroa, Fuencarral e Infanta Mercedes.
