Tempe crece un 6% y alcanza 1.400 millones de euros en 2019
El calzado de Inditex sigue engordando. Tempe, la filial de diseño, fabricación y distribución de calzado de Inditex, cerró el último ejercicio con un crecimiento del 6%, hasta 1.400 millones de euros.
El beneficio de la sociedad, participada en un 50% por el grupo gallego, se elevó un 3,5%, hasta 117 millones de euros. El ebit, por su parte, alcanzó 145 millones de euros, un 3,5% más, y el margen bruto se incrementó un 4%, según las cuentas depositadas en la Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores (Cnmv) y recogidas por Cinco Días.
Fundada en 1989, Tempe cuenta con una plantilla de unos 1.500 empleados y oficinas en México, Brasil, China, Hong Kong e India. La empresa tiene su sede en Elche (Alicante).
