Ternua Group: plan de ajuste y Erte en oficina y tiendas por el coronavirus

Ternua Group traza un plan de contingencia por el coronavirus. La compañía, dueña de Lorpen y Loreak Mendian, entre otras marcas, ha puesto en marcha una batería de medidas para “asegurar la sostenibilidad futura del proyecto”.

En este sentido, la compañía ha presentado un expediente de regulación temporal de empleo (Erte) por fuerza mayor para las 45 personas de su equipo en tiendas, que durará hasta que se puedan reabrir los puntos de venta. La empresa también ha aplicado un Erte del 50% de la jornada laboral para el personal de oficina, que trabaja en remoto. Ternua complementará las prestaciones del Estado hasta el 70% de los salarios.

La batería de medidas incluye también el ajuste del gasto corriente y el aplazamiento de inversiones no estratégicas previstas para este año en infraestructuras, tecnología y renovación de puntos de venta hasta 2021.La empresa también está negociando con proveedores para reajustar las compras y trabajando para prolongar la duración de las colecciones.

Ternua concentrará toda la producción de Lorpen en la planta de Etxalar (Navarra)

El grupo mantiene activo el servicio de atención al cliente a través del teléfono y online, así como los ecommerce de sus cuatro marcas, aunque los pedidos recibidos desde el 30 de marzo se servirán a partir del próximo 14 de abril, cuando se pueda retomar la actividad económica no esencial.

También continúa operativa la planta de Lorpen en Etxalar (Navarra). Allí se concentrará toda la producción de la marca a partir de ahora, lo que supondrá la desinversión de la fábrica de Puebla (México). “La decisión de centralizar la producción en proximidad se enmarca en la planificación estratégica de Ternua Group para el periodo 2019-2022; la situación generada en los mercados internacionales por la crisis del Covid-19 ha acelerado la ejecución de esta decisión”, añade el grupo.

“Ante la parada en seco de los mercados, la compañía tiene la responsabilidad de tomar aquellas decisiones que garanticen la sostenibilidad del proyecto, y por tanto del empleo de los trabajadores, a medio y largo plazo, nuestra prioridad”, explica el grupo.

Ternua, con sede en Arrasate (Gipuzkoa), opera con las marcas Ternua, Lorpen, Astore y Loreak Mendian, que compró el año pasado. La compañía está presente en más de cincuenta países de Europa, América y Asia.
