CONEP y AIRD reconocen gestión David Collado en Alcaldía del Distrito Nacional

El Consejo Nacional de la Empresa Privada (CONEP) y la Asociación de Industrias de la República Dominicana (AIRD) entregaron un reconocimiento al alcalde del Distrito Nacional, David Collado, por su eficiente gestión al frente del Ayuntamiento y por su visión de una ciudad amigable para las personas y en armonía con el medio ambiente y las actividades productivas.
Reconocieron que la gestión de Collado ha logrado avanzar en posicionar a la ciudad de Santo Domingo cómo destino turístico y que ha logrado aunar voluntades con la visión de que un Ayuntamiento no solo es recoger basura, sino también arte, cultura, emprendimiento, deporte y, sobre todo, personas.
La recuperación de espacios como el Malecón Turístico, la Plazoleta la Trinitaria, la Plaza Fray Antón de Montesinos; la eficiencia en las recaudaciones, las cuales se han duplicado; el trabajo conjunto con el sector privado, entre otros aspectos fundamentales para hacer del Distrito Nacional un espacio amigable para las personas y donde el quehacer empresarial se desarrolla en armonía con el medio ambiente hacen de Collado merecedor de este reconocimiento, expresaron el CONEP y la AIRD.
El Malecón es un espacio emblemático que dinamiza el turismo, la industria de la construcción y la actividad económica.
Ambas entidades empresariales dijeron esperar que quien releve a Collado en la alcaldía busque trabajar en conjunto con el sector privado tanto para lograr que los capitaleños se sientan orgullosos de su ciudad, como para buscar soluciones que ayuden a que producir y hacer negocios se facilite, en un ambiente sostenible y que implique calidad de vida para todos.
“Los dominicanos queremos, en las ciudades, espacios dignos y que sean un reflejo de lo que queremos proyectar como país, en donde sea posible una vida cultural y de esparcimiento en equilibrio con las actividades productivas y de negocios, pero también donde prime la eficiencia y la seguridad. En estos desafíos se ha avanzado con la gestión de Collado. El CONEP y la AIRD quieren reconocerlo hoy”, expresaron ambas instituciones en un comunicado conjunto.
La actividad contó con la presencia de miembros de las directivas del CONEP y la AIRD, la representante residente del PNUD, Inka Mattila y funcionarios del Ayuntamiento del Distrito Nacional.
