Decathlon amplía la entrega de sus pedidos en dos horas a toda España
Decathlon acelera en los plazos de entrega de los pedidos online. El distribuidor francés de equipamiento deportivo, que este año comenzó a ofrecer un nuevo servicio de entrega en dos horas, lo hará extensivo al resto de su red comercial tras testarlo en Valencia, Vigo, Madrid y Tenerife.
La iniciativa ya se ha ido implantando en otras provincias como Barcelona, Zaragoza, Sevilla, Mallorca, Gran Canaria y Girona, entre otras, y a lo largo del mes de octubre ya estará operativo en la mayor parte de su red de tiendas españolas.
Este servicio tiene un coste de 6,99 euros y permite al cliente seleccionar el lugar de recogida y la franja horaria en la que quiere recibir el envío. Javier López, director general de Decathlon España, ya aseguró durante la presentación de resultados económicos que el reto era “implantar este proyecto en todas las tiendas de España” para reforzar la estrategia omnicanal del grupo.
Decathlon redujo un 3% sus ventas en el mercado español en el ejercicio 2018 registrando una cifra de negocio de 1.559 millones de euros. Se trata de la primera caída de los ingresos del grupo en país en siete años. La empresa hundió también su beneficio neto en España un 19%, pasando de 120 millones de euros en 2017 a 96,6 millones de euros en 2018.
