Givaudan crece un 12,2% y gana un 5,8% más en 2019
Givaudan finaliza 2019 al alza. El fabricante suizo de fragancias y aromas ha cerrado el ejercicio con un resultado neto de 702 millones de euros, un 5,8% más que el año anterior, cuando ganó 663 millones de euros.
La facturación de la empresa también ha crecido durante el periodo, registrando un alza del 12,2%, hasta 6.203 millones de euros. Por su parte, el resultado bruto de explotación (ebitda) de la empresa se ha situado en 1.275 millones de euros, un 11,4% más.
El negocio de fragancias de Givaudan se ha elevado un 10,9% durante el periodo, hasta 2.710 millones de euros, mientras que la división de aromas ha crecido un 13,4%, hasta 3.136 millones de euros.

“Hemos completado el cuarto año de nuestra estrategia 2020 y nos estamos preparando para el siguiente capítulo”, ha señalado Gilles Andrier, consejero delegado del grupo, en un comunicado.
El último ejercicio de la compañía, proveedor de los principales grupos de perfumería y cosmética, ha estado marcada por las adquisiciones. En total, en 2019 la empresa ha sacado la chequera cinco veces con la compra de Golden Frog, Drom, Albert Vieille, Frafance Oils y AMSilk GmbH.
