Con la apertura de su primera tienda en Funza, la central de abastos de la esquina completó las 15 tiendas en el país y continúa firme en su expansión.

A tres años de su lanzamiento en Colombia, Surtimayorista, el formato cash & carry del Grupo Éxito inspirado en el modelo brasileño Assaí del GPA, abrió su primera tienda en Funza, Cundinamarca, y se convirtió en la sucursal número 25 del país, avalando el gran recibimiento del modelo y apoyando su constante expansión orgánica a nivel nacional.

Con esta apertura, la marca está presente en Bogotá, Cúcuta, Medellín, Barranquilla, Villavicencio y municipios como Turbaco en la costa y Soacha, Chía, Zipaquirá, Facatativá y ahora Funza en Cundinamarca. La meta de la cadena es concluir el 2019 con un total de 30 puntos de venta.

La nueva tienda Surtimayorista Funza cuenta con un área de venta de 625 metros cuadrados, donde ofrece más de 2.100 referencias de lunes a domingo de 8 a.m. a 8 p.m. para clientes profesionales como tiendas, restaurantes, hoteles, entre otros.

“A lo largo de estos tres años en Surtimayorista hemos llegado a más de 10 ciudades en Colombia, multiplicando nuestras ventas 1.9 veces frente al formato anterior y convirtiéndonos en la mejor opción de abastecimiento no solo atendiendo a los clientes profesionales para los que tenemos grandes beneficios, sino también a los hogares, en donde hemos logrado que 7 de cada 100 familias de Bogotá compren en Surtimayorista”, dijo José Rafael Fernández, Gerente de Surtimayorista.
