Inditex escala dos posiciones entre los mayores retailers del mundo

Inditex gana terreno entre los grandes. La compañía gallega de distribución de moda, número uno del mundo por cifra de negocio, se ha colocado en el puesto número 33 del ránking Global Powers of Retailing, elaborado por Deloitte.

El grupo presidido por Pablo Isla ha escalado dos posiciones respecto a la pasada edición. La compañía ha ganado terreno en la tabla después de crecer un 3% en 2018, hasta 30.673 millones de dólares.

La otra compañía española de moda que aparece en Global Powers of Retailing es El Corte Inglés. El grupo de grandes almacenes ha descendido tres puestos en la clasificación, hasta la posición 65.

Inditex creció un 3% en 2018

El conjunto de los 250 grupos de distribución que aparecen en el ránking registró una cifra de negocio de 4.740 millones de euros en 2018, un 4,1% más que el año anterior. Además, todas las compañías registraron un margen neto medio del 3%.

El top 3 del ránking lo ocupan tres grupos estadounidenses, Walmart, con 514.450 millones de dólares; Cotsco, con 141.576 millones de dólares, y Amazon, con 140.211 millones de dólares que este año ha escalado una posición.
