Interparfums crece un 8% en 2018 aupada por las fragancias de Coach
Interpafums continúa ganando tamaño. El fabricante francés de perfumería ha concluido su ejercicio de 2018 con un crecimiento del 8%, situando sus ventas en 455 millones de euros. A tipos de cambio constante, el alza de la cifra de negocio fue del 11%.
Parte del alza de los ingresos del grupo se debió al tirón de las ventas de Coach, que se dispararon un 66% respecto el año anterior, hasta situarse en 84,4 millones de euros, colocándose como el tercer perfume de la casa, por detrás de Montblanc y Jimmy Choo.
Montblanc continúa siendo el artículo estrella de Interparfums, con ventas de 108,8 millones de euros en 2018, pese a registrar un descenso del 3%. Jimmy Choo, por su parte, continuó ganando posiciones con un avance del 4%, hasta 99,6 millones de euros.
Por regiones, el continente americano continuó tirando del negocio de Interparfums en 2018. Las ventas en Norteamérica, su principal mercado, se incrementaron un 18%, hasta 118,5 millones de euros, mientras que en Latinoamérica aumentaron un 13%, hasta 35,2 millones de euros.
Los mercados que peor evolucionaron fueron África y Europa Occidental, donde los ingresos del grupo cayeron un 7% y un 2%, respectivamente. No obstante, Europa Occidental continúa siendo su segundo mayor mercado, con ingresos de 92,8 millones de euros a fin del ejercicio.
