LVMH se reordena en España: traslada su sede de joyería y relojería
LVMH reordena su estructura en el mercado español. El conglomerado francés de lujo ha alquilado unas nuevas oficinas para su filial de joyería y relojería, que controla marcas como Tag Heuer, según ha adelantado hoy EjePrime.
La compañía se instalará en el número 112 de la calle Príncipe de Vergara, en Madrid, en el inmueble conocido como The Window Building, según ha confirmado Colonial. Hasta ahora, la empresa ocupaba un piso de mil metros cuadrados en la calle de Francisco Silvela, que albergaba tanto las oficinas como el almacén. El nuevo espacio, de 621 metros cuadrados, albergará sólo las oficinas.
LVMH opera también con otras dos filiales en España, dedicadas a la perfumería y la cosmética y el aprovisionamiento. La primera tiene su sede en Isla de Java, en Madrid, y está pilotada por Juan Pedro Abeniacar Trolez. La segunda, con sede en Barberà del Vallés (Barcelona), está liderada desde este año por Armel Schwerer.
Además, la empresa también cuenta en España con equipos independientes para algunas de sus marcas como Loewe (que tiene en Madrid su centro de decisión global) o Dior, ambas con sede en Madrid.
LVMH redujo un 10,6% sus ventas de relojería y joyería en el mercado español en 2018
La filial LVMH Relojería y Joyería España, pilotada por Blanca Panzano, cerró 2018 con una facturación de 26 millones de euros, frente a los 29 millones de euros del año anterior. La empresa también redujo su resultado neto, que pasó de 2,4 millones en 2017 a un millón de euros en 2018, según las últimas cuentas depositadas en el Registro Mercantil.
En el informe de gestión, la empresa apunta que “2018 fue un año de transición debido principalmente al retraso en el lanzamiento de algunas novedades importantes previstas para este año”.
En concreto, LVMH se refiere a las nuevas versiones del Connected Watch, que en 2017 generó ventas por valor de 2,7 millones de euros. En paralelo, la empresa apunta que “la notoriedad y visibilidad en el mercado de la marca Tag Heuer con patrocinios como La Liga han compensado parcialmente esa caída”.
De cara 2019, la compañía apuntaba que las ventas se mantendrían en niveles similares al año anterior hasta la llegada de novedades, previstas para el segundo semestre de 2019 y comienzos de 2020. También impactará en las cuentas la pérdida del mercado griego, que gestionaba la filial ibérica hasta marzo de 2019.
A escala global, división de joyería y relojería de LVM opera con las marcas Chaumet, Tag Heuer, Zenith, Bulgari, Fred y Hublot. Estas seis compañías facturan 4.405 millones de euros y operan con 428 tiendas en todo el mundo, además de puntos de venta multimarca.
