Arcadia obtiene luz verde para reestructurar su negocio en Estados Unidos
Arcadia reestructurará también su negocio en Estados Unidos. La filial de la empresa propietaria de Topshop y Topman en el mercado estadounidense ha alcanzado un acuerdo con sus acreedores del país para ejecutar una reorganización de su negocio en este territorio.
El grupo ha asegurado que mantiene “un diálogo significativo y constructivo” con sus acreedores estadounidenses, entre los que se encuentran Vornado, Simon Property o Brookfield, según Financial Times.
Tras lograr este consenso, Arcadia podrá ejecutar el conjunto de acciones previstas en el acuerdo de insolvencia (CVA, por sus siglas en inglés) que alcanzó en Reino Unido el pasado junio. Una de las medidas de este pacto era precisamente la reestructuración de su negocio en Estados Unidos.
En paralelo, el marketplace británico Shop Direct ha anunciado hoy que suma a su cartera de marcas todas las del grupo Aracadia, incluidas Toshop y Topman. Por el momento, a través de esta plataforma de ecommerce se comercializarán unas 500 prendas, que se ampliarán a 2.000 a lo largo de la campaña de otoño.
