Thomas Meyer amplia su dividendo en Desigual. El fundador de la compañía de distribución de moda se ha adjudicado un dividendo de 320 millones de euros, tal como se refleja en las cuentas de Abasic, según Cinco Días.
La cantidad supera a los 107 millones de euros que el directivo se adjudicó en 2014 tras la entrada del fondo Eurazeo, que adquirió el 10% del accionariado de la empresa. El fondo controló parte de Desigual hasta el año pasado, cuando Meyer recompró sus acciones en la compañía.
En las cuentas del último ejercicio de Desigual, se explica que “la junta general de socios aprobó la distribución de un dividendo por importe de 320 millones de euros” para Meyer. De esa cantidad, 269,3 millones fueron cargados a reservas, 45,7 millones a prima de emisión y 5 millones a cuenta del ejercicio 2018.
Desigual finalizó el ejercicio 2018, el cuarto año de su plan de transformación, con una caída de las ventas del 14%, hasta 655 millones de euros, perdiendo la barrera de los 700 millones de euros por primera vez desde 2011.
El beneficio, por su parte, se hundió un 93%, hasta 3,4 millones de euros, frente a los 47 millones de euros del año anterior. El resultado bruto de explotación (ebitda) se situó en 63,5 millones de euros, un 46,6% menos que el año anterior.
