Pimkie suma y sigue en España: abre su primer outlet en el país
Pimkie gana terreno en España. La compañía francesa de distribución de moda amplía su oferta en el mercado español con la puesta en marcha de su primer establecimiento en formato outlet.
En concreto, el grupo subirá la persiana de un punto de venta de 280 metros cuadrados de superficie en el centro comercial Sambil Outlet, ubicado en Madrid. En el complejo, Pimkie compartirá espacio con otros retailers como Fifty Factory (Tendam), Tempe For and From, Foot Locker o el outlet de El Corte Inglés.
En España, el grupo cuenta con alrededor de cien establecimientos, el grueso de ellos ubicado en Madrid y Barcelona. El resto de los puntos de venta de Pimkie se encuentra en ciudades como Sevilla, Valencia o Málaga.
Pimkie realizó un ERE en marzo que afectó a 89 empleados en España
La compañía, propiedad de la familia Mulliez, ha reestructurado su negocio en España en los últimos meses. En marzo, el grupo llegó un pacto con los sindicatos para un expediente de regulación de empleo (ERE) que afectó a 89 empleados del grupo en el país con motivo del cierre de dieciséis establecimientos.
Este fue el segundo ERE que la empresa francesa realizó en España después de que hace seis años despidiera a ochenta trabajadores tras bajar la persiana de veinte establecimientos en el país.
El año pasado, además, el grupo ya reordenó su negocio en España al unificar la actividad de sus dos cadenas de moda: Pimkie y Jules en la misma sede. Entonces, el responsable de la filial española de la compañía era Clément Dhier.
Tras el ERE de marzo, la compañía decidió unificar la gestionar de todo el sur de Europa en un solo ejecutivo: Fabrizio Pezzoli. El directivo pilota desde abril el negocio de Pimkie en España, Italia y Portugal, con sede en Milán y Barcelona.
