Si en 2014 fue en Nueva York, ahora ha sido el turno de Hong Kong, su «casa», donde el gigante del comercio electrónico ha cerrado hoy su primera sesión bursátil en 187,6 dólares de Hong Kong, este precio se sitúa un 6,6% por encima de los 176 dólares de Hong Kong (20,4 euros) fijado para su salida a Bolsa.
Lo curioso es que el precio al que ha cerrado esta primera sesión ha sido prácticamente el mismo que ha marcado en la apertura cuando su cotización subía un 6,3% hasta los 187 dólares de Hong Kong.
Estas subidas de Alibaba contrastan con los descensos de la tecnológica china Tencent, el valor con más peso hasta ahora del mercado hongkonés, que ha cerrado con caídas del 1,2%. Y es que los analistas habían augurado que habría inversores que cambiarían sus títulos de Tencent por los del recién llegado Alibaba con el objetivo de diversificar sus carteras.
Las diferentes plataformas de comercio en línea del grupo suman en China 785 millones de utilizadores que se conectan con el teléfono portátil.
Alibaba espera en cinco años llegar 1.000 millones de consumidores en China, que cuenta 1.400 millones de habitantes.
La salida a bolsa de Hong Kong apunta a conseguir capitales para su desarrollo internacional con el objetivo de totalizar 2.000 millones de consumidores en el mundo.
Jack Ma, 55 años, que se retiró de la dirección de la empresa en septiembre de este año, con la satisfacción de ver que en el último trimestre Alibaba triplicó su beneficio neto (10.170 millones de dólares) y aumentó su facturación en 40% a 16.700 millones de dólares.
