JD Sports prosigue su expansión en España: abre en Granada su mayor tienda en el país
JD Sports sube su apuesta por el mercado español. La compañía británica, especializada en moda deportiva, abrirá el próximo 14 de diciembre una nueva tienda en Granada dentro del centro comercial Nevada Shopping, con la que supera las sesenta tiendas en el país.
El nuevo punto de venta contará con 880 metros cuadrados de superficie, y y se ubicará en el centro comercial Nevada Shopping. JD Sports está inmerso en un plan de expansión dentro del país desde 2016, que lo ha llevado a sumar 61 tiendas en total. En el plano internacional, JD Sports abrió 29 tiendas en el primer semestre de 2019.
JD Sports cerró el primer trimestre del año con un aumento del 2,7% en su beneficio, hasta 98 millones de libras (109,3 millones de euros). Las ventas se dispararon un 47%, hasta 2.721,2 millones de libras (3.037,2 millones de euros).
