Más capital para el textil: nace la aceleradora SmartX
Europa apuesta por la innovación. Impulsada por trece empresas europeas vinculadas a la industria textil y tecnológica, la aceleradora SmartX acaba de dar sus primeros pasos. El proyecto tiene como objetivo impulsar el negocio de cuarenta start ups del negocio textil.
El programa, de tres años, cuenta con un presupuesto total de 2,4 millones de euros, 60.000 euros por cada proyecto. SmartX ha recibido financiación del programa de investigación e innovación Horizonte 2020 de la Unión Europea.
SmartX tiene la intención de impulsar la innovación en tejidos inteligentes para impulsar la innovación en toda la cadena de valor. “El mercado mundial de textiles inteligentes ha entrado en una fase de rápido crecimiento, debería alcanzar los 3.000 millones para 2024”, ha señalado Lutz Walter, secretario general de Textil European Technology Platform for the Future of Textiles and Clothing (ETP).
