La facturación de la industria textil arranca el año a la baja: cae un 5,7% en enero
Los ingresos de la industria textil vuelven a situarse a la baja. El Índice de Cifras de Negocio (ICN) del sector finalizó enero con una caída interanual del 5,7%, según datos del Instituto Nacional de Estadística (INE). En diciembre, el descenso fue del 4%.
El sector cerró 2019 con una caída media acumulada del 3,9%, que supuso el tercer año consecutivo en descenso. El índice mantuvo la tendencia bajista a lo largo de 2019, registrando caídas del 11,1% y del 5,7% en junio y agosto, y descensos más moderados, como del 0,7% en febrero.
En el caso de la confección, el sector ha cambiado de signo en enero, con un ascenso del 12,8%, dejando atrás los retrocesos de los meses anteriores. Por su parte, la industria del cuero y del calzado cerró el primer mes del año con un descenso de su facturación de 6,8%.
El retroceso del textil se aleja del índice general. La cifra de negocio de la industria española finalizó enero con un incremento interanual del 1,2%.
