LVMH prevé una caída de las ventas de hasta el 20% en el primer trimestre por el coronavirus
LVMH, en riesgo por el coronavirus. El conglomerado francés de lujo, dueño de Louis Vuitton, Dior o Céline, prevé recortar sus ventas entre un 10% y un 20% en el primer trimestre por el coronavirus. La compañía publicará los resultados del periodo el próximo 16 de abril.
La empresa ha explicado que “en el periodo actual de incertidumbre, el grupo mantendrá su estrategia de preservación de sus marcas” y que el impacto del coronavirus no puede calcularse con “precisión” hasta que la situación no vuelva a la normalidad.
La compañía mantiene cerradas sus tiendas y plantas de producción Francia ante el avance de la pandemia, “lo que tendrá un impacto en los resultados del grupo”, ha añadido la empresa en un comunicado.
LVMH finalizó el ejercicio de 2019 con una cifra de negocio de 53.670 millones de euros, un 15% más que el año anterior. El beneficio de la empresa, por su parte, se situó en 11.504 millones de euros, un 15% más.
