Amazon planearía hasta 3.000 tiendas sin cajeros para 2021

21 de septiembre 2018, 3:40 PM.– Amazon.com Inc. está analizando un plan para abrir 3.000 nuevas tiendas Amazon Go sin cajeros en los próximos años, según personas con conocimiento del tema, expansión agresiva y costosa que pondría en peligro a las cadenas de locales de conveniencia como 7-Eleven Inc., los comercios de sándwiches de servicio rápido como Subway y Panera Bread y pizzerías y camiones de tacos independientes.

El máximo responsable Jeff Bezos considera que eliminar los atascos de la hora del almuerzo en las ciudades de ritmo ajetreado es la mejor manera de que Amazon reinvente la experiencia de comprar en tiendas físicas, donde aún se realiza la mayor parte del gasto.
