Xti refuerza su estructura societaria. La compañía murciana de calzado, con sede en Yecla, ha apuntalado financieramente la sociedad Xti Desarrollos Comerciales, ubicada en Elche (Alicante), con una inyección de capital de 3,8 millones de euros.
Xti Desarrollos Comerciales es una de las empresas que tiene como matriz Proyecto Dever, bajo la que también se sitúan Xti Footwear y Marson Footwear. Tras esta operación, el capital social de Xti Desarrollos Comercial se sitúa en 3,81 millones de euros, según consta en el Registro Mercantil.
Proyecto Denver concentra sus operaciones en Yecla, aunque hace una década la empresa trasladó el domicilio social de Xti Desarrollos Comerciales a Elche (Alicante), el mayor clúster de calzado en España. La compañía murciana hace tiempo que trasladó a Elche el grueso de su actividad comercial para aprovechar el dinamismo de la ciudad entre los diferentes actores del sector.

Esta sociedad, antes denominada Buda Footwear, tiene como objeto social el comercio al por mayor y menor, exportación e importación de todo tipo de calzado y complementos en todas sus variedades, además del desarrollo comercial y publicitario de marcas, y de proyectos y decoración de espacios comerciales.
Xti es uno de los mayores grupos de calzado en España por cifra de negocio. Xti Footwear, la mayor de las sociedades del grupo por facturación, cerró 2017 con ingresos de 77,4 millones de euros, un 2,1% más que en el año anterior. La empresa concluyó el ejercicio, cerrado a 31 de diciembre de 2017, con un beneficio neto de seis millones de euros, frente a los 5,6 millones de euros de 2016, según los últimos datos del Registro Mercantil.
El grupo, pilotado por el empresario murciano Ángel Martínez Santa, está considerado como uno de los últimos fenómenos del calzado español. En menos de dos décadas, la compañía ha tomado el territorio con una fórmula basada en precio, tendencias y celebridades. La marca Xti dio el salto al mercado a principios de los 2000 y en apenas cuatro temporadas se posicionó en las zapaterías del país.

En 2015, la empresa alcanzó su cota máxima en ventas, llegando a los 88,8 millones de euros, duplicando la cifra de 2013, cuando la facturación del grupo se situaba en 47 millones de euros. No obstante, en 2016, Xti contrajo por primera vez sus ventas arrastrada por la caída de su negocio en España.
En los últimos años, el grupo ha diseñado su estrategia en base al retail, con la puesta en marcha de establecimientos monomarca y a la expansión internacional. De hecho, en 2017, las ventas en el extranjero tiraron de la facturación del grupo, con un incremento del 4,7% en el negocio en la Unión Europa, y del 12% en el resto del mundo. En la actualidad, Xti genera ya el 56% de su negocio fuera del mercado español.
