‘Magis’ se había abierto camino en los corazones de sus clientes como una marca popular de ropa para mujeres en el sur de la India durante los últimos 13 años y cuando se trataba de albergar sus propios productos, con su tienda principal en Thrissur, los propietarios querían que el espacio Reflejan las cualidades, de sus productos, que los habían hecho famosos. ‘La tienda entre líneas’, como se la llama con cariño, fue el resultado de este sueño.

La tienda aprovecha al máximo la ubicación privilegiada. Con sus grandes ventanas existentes hacia el lado de la calle, se logra un cierto nivel de translucidez visual, mediante una visualización de ventanas estratégicamente orquestada, con el objetivo de dar al paseante un vistazo a la tienda, lo que les permite visitar y explorar más. La fachada de la tienda carece de cambios importantes en el edificio existente y se combina con una pequeña intervención mediante un enrejado de metal pintado que conectaría las distintas partes del frente de la tienda, cuando las enredaderas en floración alcancen su pleno crecimiento y actúen como Un marco dinámico para los escaparates.

Aunque la tienda está diseñada para crear un drama espacial, permite una experiencia íntima y táctil de los productos que se muestran en ella. En el centro de la habitación se encuentra una gran unidad de visualización blanca, con un acabado brillante en pintura automotriz, que contrasta con el resto de los interiores que crean una zona de visualización para productos de alta gama exquisitos. Esta unidad, mientras oculta una columna central, crea un bucle en el diseño de la tienda que solicita a los clientes que caminen alrededor de ella descubriendo cosas en la tienda a medida que avanzan.

Las diversas plataformas con acabado de cemento, que se dispersan alrededor de la periferia interna de la tienda, se levantan como una continuación del pavimento con acabado de cemento, en diferentes alturas y actúan como un pedestal para apilar los productos, acomodan accesorios durante decoraciones de temporada y se convierten en un asiento para los clientes o una mesa para discusiones. Esto permite cambios en la configuración general de la pantalla de vez en cuando, creando interés en sus clientes frecuentes.

Las ropas colgantes se acomodan en secciones de caja de acero inoxidable que se elevan y caen desde la plataforma y el piso en forma aleatoria pero controlada alrededor de la tienda. La luz de tira LED, utilizada para la iluminación general, está hecha para parecer que está suspendida en el aire y refleja el diseño de la sección de la caja SS en el plano y completa el bucle.

Toda una pared trasera tiene gabinetes de almacenamiento cubiertos por contraventanas deslizantes que ayudan a duplicar visualmente el espacio. Estos gabinetes se utilizan para apilar el exceso de productos y se puede acceder a ellos cuando el cliente lo requiere. Los tonos neutros de gris dominan el esquema de color general y se convierten en un telón de fondo para los diferentes colores, tonos y texturas que los diseñadores de Magis incorporan a su colección cada temporada.

La visualización de la ventana también se puede cambiar fácilmente mediante un sistema simple pero versátil, desarrollado por los arquitectos, fijado en el techo dentro de la tienda, sobre las ventanas de la pantalla. Este sistema fácil de usar ayuda a aquellos en la tienda a cambiar la pantalla de acuerdo con su necesidad o demanda estacional, de manera rápida y eficiente. La honestidad, la simplicidad y la funcionalidad de la tienda, reflejan así el carácter de los productos por los que se admira a Magis.
