Essilor modifica su cúpula con un nuevo director internacional
Essilorluxottica remodela su cúpula en plena crisis por el coronavirus. El gigante de óptica ha nombrado a Paul du Saillant nuevo responsable del negocio internacional de Essilor. El ejecutivo sustituirá en el consejo de administración de la compañía a Laurent Vacherot, que ha dejado su cargo por jubilación.
Du Saillant ha trabajado en empresas como Air Liquide, donde ejerció varios puestos de responsabilidad, o Lhoist, donde fue director de operaciones. En 2008, Du Saillant se incorporó a Essilor como responsable de estrategia. Actualmente, el ejecutivo es director general delegado de Essilor.
En su nuevo puesto, Du Saillant trabajará de la mano de Francesco Milleri, que ocupa su mismo puesto en Luxottica, para desarrollar e implementar la nueva estrategia de la compañía, que completó su fusión en octubre de 2018.
En paralelo, Essilorluxottica ha explicado que pospondrá el encuentro con los inversores al próximo 25 de junio por el coronavirus. Además, el grupo ha decidido revaluar la decisión del reparto de dividendo.
