Inditex renueva sus 1,6 millones de perchas con la alcoyana Erum
Inditex renueva los colgadores de sus tiendas. El grupo de Amancio Ortega cambiará los 1,6 millones de perchas que llenan las más de 7.000 tiendas que tiene repartidas por todo el mundo. Para llevarlo a cabo, Inditex ha renovado su acuerdo con Erum, que en 2020 seguirá siendo la empresa proveedora de colgadores del gigante textil.
Además de ser el proveedor exclusivo de perchas de Inditex, Erum también trabaja para otras diez grandes compañías de retail, entre las que destacan H&M, C&A o El Corte Inglés. La empresa, que ha llegado a facturar 120 millones de euros, se ha constituido como un grupo sólido en la industria de la moda, está presente en una treintena de países y emplea a 1.800 personas.
La compañía fue fundada por Emilio Erum Verdú en Alcoy en 1939. En sus primeros años de vida, esta empresa alicantina se dedicó a la producción de canutillos de cartón para cortinas mosquiteras. Años más tarde, el negocio viró hacia el sector de inyección de plástico de accesorios para la confección y encontró en la venta de perchas para el sector textil su mayor modelo de negocio.
