La feria Centrestage ‘reta’ la crisis de Hong Kong con una nueva edición en septiembre
Centrestage reta la crisis de Hong Kong. La feria de moda de la ciudad mantiene la convocatoria prevista entre el 4 y el 7 de septiembre a pesar de los disturbios que en las últimas semanas han paralizado la región.
La organización del certamen, Hong Kong Trade Development Center (Hktdc), ha asegurado que la feria regresará como cada año al Hong Kong Convention&Exhibition Center, y que en esta ocasión, reunirá a unas 240 firmas, una suma similar a la del año anterior.
En su anterior edición, el encuentro contó con la participación de 230 marcas de 22 países y reunió a un total de 8.700 visitantes procedentes de ochenta países. La feria tiene este año como lema Future Tribes y organiza su oferta en base a tres áreas: Metro, para la moda urbana; Iconic, para el diseño de vanguardia, y Allure, de piezas más artesanas.
En paralelo al encuentro comercial, Centrestage organiza un desfile de apertura, Centrestage Elits Opening Gala Show, donde participarán los diseñadores Anaïs Mak y Joseph Altuzarra, así como un premio para jóvenes diseñadores, que tiene en su jurado a Kenzo Takada o Vivienne Tam, entre otros.
