La Golden Week recupera impulso: el gasto crece un 8,5%
La Golden Week de China vuelve a recuperar su empuje. Entre el 1 de octubre, el día del aniversario de la fundación de la República Popular de China, y el 7 de octubre, el comercio se elevó un 8,5%, según del Ministerio de Comercio recogidos por Reuters.
El dato contrasta con la caída del 6,7% registrada el año pasado, la primera desde que comenzaron a publicarse los datos en 2009. En total, el volumen de ventas minoristas y restauración ascendió a 1,52 billones de yuanes (193.930 millones de euros), gracias al incremento de gasto en turismo y entretenimiento.
El gasto durante la Golden Week ascendió a casi 200.000 millones de euros
Gran parte de la población china tiene vacaciones durante esta semana, en la que aprovechan para regresar a sus localidades de origen, lo que dispara el gasto en transporte. En agosto, China anunció un plan para impulsar el poder adquisitivo en 2019 y 2020 con el objetivo de dinamizar el consumo privado, aunque no dio más detalles del proyecto.
En las ciudades sí han comenzado a implementarse medidas para impulsar el comercio minorista ante la dinamización de la economía del país. En concreto, las metrópolis están ampliando los horarios comerciales para promover la “economía nocturna”, entre las seis de la tarde y las seis de la mañana.
