Los Ángeles baja también la persiana en EEUU: decreta el cierre de todo el comercio
Las luces de los comercios van apagándose, estado a estado, en la primera potencia mundial. El alcalde de Los Ángeles se sumó ayer a la lista de ciudades y estados de Estados Unidos que han decretado el cierre de todo el comercio no esencial para frenar el avance del coronavirus.
En Europa, Italia, España, Francia y Alemania ya tomaron días atrás esta medida en todo el país. En Estados Unidos, varios estados han reclamado a Donald Trump que coordine una respuesta nacional que, por ahora, no ha llegado.
Estados como Illinois, Ohio y Massachusetts han decretado el cierre durante los últimos días, y ayer jueves se sumó también Los Ángeles, donde los comercios no esenciales tendrán que permanecer cerrados hasta el 19 de abril. Además, el alcalde de la ciudad, Eric Garcetti, ha insistido en la necesidad de que los ciudadanos se queden en casa, aunque no se ha prohibido caminar o circular por la calle.
Antes de las prohibiciones, ya han sido varios los retailers que han comunicado durante los últimos días el cierre de todas sus tiendas en Norteamérica, como Gap, Nike, H&M, Macy’s o Kering.
