Milano Unica cuelga también el cartel de ‘pospuesto’: se celebrará en septiembre
Milano Unica también se mueve en el calendario. La mayor feria italiana de tejidos ha pospuesto su próxima edición de julio a septiembre, según ha explicado hoy la organización en un comunicado.
El evento, que se celebra en Fiera Milano Rho, estaba inicialmente programado para el 7, 8 y 9 de julio. Finalmente, tendrá lugar entre el 7 y el 9 de septiembre, cuando los expositores presentarán sus colecciones de 2021.
La decisión deriva de “la complejidad de la situación actual y la evolución internacional del brote, sumado a las indiscutibles dificultades para producir las colecciones y los esfuerzos que han hecho muchos expositores para reconvertir sus instalaciones para fabricar material sanitario”, ha explicado Alessandro Barberis Canónico, presidente de Milano Unica desde principios de año.

El sector italiano de la tejeduría movió una cifra de negocio de 7.600 millones de euros en 2019, un 4,7% más que el año anterior, según las estimaciones de Confindustria Moda. En su última edición, el pasado febrero, Milano Unica reunió a 477 expositores aunque redujo un 2% sus visitantes.
En los últimos días, las pasarelas de París, Nueva York, Londres y Milán previstas para junio y julio también se han retrasado en el calendario o directamente suspendido ante el avance de la pandemia.
