Puig: Erte en dos fábricas y toda su red comercial
Puig paraliza su producción y encara también un Erte. El grupo, dueño de Carolina Herrera y Paco Rabanne, entre otras marcas, ha anunciado este lunes un expediente de regulación temporal de empleo (Erte) en dos de sus fábricas y toda su red comercial.
En concreto, la medida se tramitará por causa de fuerza mayor en las fábricas de Alcalá de Henares (Madrid) y Besòs (Barcelona), en las que se ha paralizado la producción, y en el personal de punto de venta en grandes almacenes, perfumerías y aeropuertos.
En cambio, la planta de Puig en Vacarisses (Barcelona) continúa activa fabricando geles hidroalcohólicos. El grupo, que emplea a 4.472 personas, no ha precisado a cuántos trabajadores afectará la medida.
Puig ha lamentado “el impacto tangible” del coronavirus y ha recalcado que se están tomando medidas para garantizar la salud de sus empleados, como cancelar viajes a zonas de riesgo, limitar reuniones presenciales y reforzar la desinfección de instalaciones.
Puig cerró 2018 con una facturación de 1.933 millones de euros, en línea con el año anterior, y elevó su beneficio un 6%, hasta 242 millones de euros, según los últimos datos presentados por la empresa.
