The Covid Art Museum: Primer museo de arte nacido en la cuarentena
El confinamiento al que nos vemos obligados para luchar contra el COVID-19 trae consigo la realización de actividades que llenen nuestro tiempo durante estas semanas. Hay quién se dedica a la lectura, a ver series y películas una tras otra o a visitar virtualmente los mejores museos del mundo. Pero también hay quién decide dar rienda suelta a su incuestionable creatividad lanzando nuevas iniciativas artísticas que pongan de manifiesto la realidad por la que estamos atravesando.
Este es el caso de The Covid Art Museum (CAM) es el primer museo de arte del mundo nacido durante la cuarentena . Lo han creado en Instagram tres creativos publicitarios, Irene Llorca (Alicante, 1993), José Guerrero (Alicante, 1991) y Emma Calvo (Barcelona, 1994) y su proyecto es este museo digital centrado en la pandemia causada por el coronavirus.
La gran acogida que está teniendo el Covid Art Museum ha llevado a sus organizadores a crear un formulario de Google, disponible en su perfil de Instagram para que los artistas puedan remitirles sus propuestas artísticas junto a la explicación de cómo o en qué contexto se ha creado la obra que proponen para ser «colgada» en el Museo.
