Wala lanza Exclusive: su segunda marca propia para crecer en textil
Wala aumenta su cartera de marcas propias con la creación de Exclusive. La nueva firma se especializará en el segmento de la moda deportiva y se suma a Batti, la que hasta ahora era la única marca de la cadena catalana de artículos deportivos.
Hasta ahora, Batti sólo representaba un 3% de la facturación de Wala, que en 2018 ascendió a 42 millones de euros, según Expansión. La cadena aporta el grueso de la facturación al grupo al que pertenece, Unipreus, que cerró el último ejercicio con unas ventas de 53 millones de euros.
Por otro lado, Jordi Querol, director general de Wala, ha confirmado los planes de abrir dos nuevas tiendas en Cataluña en 2020. Ambas serán en la provincia de Barcelona, aunque “no hay ninguna localización cerrada”, confirmó el ejecutivo
