Kiabi entra en pérdidas en España y estanca su facturación en 2018

Kiabi entra en números rojos en el mercado español. El gigante francés de distribución de moda, controlado por la familia Mulliez, ha cerrado el ejercicio 2018 con unas pérdidas de 2,57 millones de euros, frente al beneficio de 2,7 millones de euros del año anterior, según las cuentas depositadas en el Registro Mercantil y recogidas por Expansión.

La filial, controlada al 99% por la sociedad luxemburguesa Itfi, facturó 208,5 millones de euros en el país, un 0,36% más, pero disparó sus costes de aprovisionamiento hasta los 137,7 millones de euros, un 7% más. Kiabi también elevó un 7,7% sus gastos de explotación, hasta 48,8 millones de euros.

Otra partida de gasto que aumentó el año pasado fue la de alquileres. La empresa, que suma 55 tiendas en España, anotó un gasto por este concepto de 15,79 millones de euros, frente a los 13,99 millones del año anterior.

La filial cuenta con una deuda de 4,82 millones de euros, frente a los 8,52 millones del año anterior, la mayoría con proveedores y acreedores. Kiabi aprovisionó el año pasado 2,16 millones de euros por un pleito con Hacienda correspondiente a sus impuestos de los ejercicios 2006 y 2007 y por el que la compañía ha interpuesto un recurso ante la Audiencia Nacional.
