Tory Burch ficha a un ex Prada para pilotar el negocio en Europa

Tory Burch apuntala su cúpula en Europa. La compañía estadounidense ha nombrado a Stefano Sutter como presidente para la región de Europa y Oriente Próximo. El directivo se incorporará al cargo el próximo 4 de febrero.

Sutter cuenta con una larga trayectoria en el sector. Hasta ahora, el directivo había trabajado durante ocho años como responsable de las actividades de Prada y Miu Miu para la zona norte de Europa. Además, también formó parte de otras compañías de moda como Inditex.

El fichaje de Sutter se produce dos meses después de que Tory Burch renovara su dirección con un nuevo consejero delegado. La compañía estadounidense nombró a Pierre Yves Roussel, ex director de la división de moda de LVMH, para pilotar la empresa.

Estos cambios suceden después de que a finales del pasado noviembre el grupo recomprara al fondo de inversión mexicano Tresalia Group el 20% de sus acciones que tenía desde 2009. Después de la transacción, cuyo importe no trascendió, Tory Burch y los fondos General Atlantic y BDT se mantienen como principales accionistas de la empresa.
