CONEP y AIRD realizan recorrido en tres importantes industrias del país junto a funcionarios y legisladores

La Asociación de Industrias de la República Dominicana (AIRD), con el respaldo del Consejo Nacional de la Empresa Privada (CONEP), efectuaron el viernes 01 de noviembre la cuarta jornada de socialización con funcionarios y legisladores, con el objetivo de conocer por dentro tres industrias dominicanas y poder palpar los aportes que estas realizan a la economía nacional y al país.
La jornada inició con la visita al Grupo CORVI, una empresa dedicada a la implementación de tecnologías y procesos de producción para la fabricación y comercialización de materiales de construcción para consumo local y exportación al Caribe y Latinoamérica. Entre sus productos se encuentran tuberías y accesorios de PVC para agua, drenaje y sanitarios; derivados del acero: clavos, alambres, verjas, entre otros. Estuvieron presentes por la empresa José Alfredo Corripio y Radhamés García.
Asimismo, se recorrieron las instalaciones de Industrias Aguayo de la Construcción, una empresa con más de 70 años operando en el país, líderes en oferta de soluciones para proyectos de infraestructura y fabricantes de una amplia gama de productos tanto estructurales como de terminación, que abarcan no sólo las unidades tradicionales de mampostería, sino también sistemas completos para la fabricación de muros de retención de suelos, control de erosión, pavimentos flexibles y morteros, así como el tradicional mosaico hidráulico. Estuvieron presentes por la empresa Jorge Aguayo y Raúl Aguayo.
Por último, conocieron las operaciones de la planta de Culinarios de Nestlé Dominicana, ubicada en la provincia de San Cristóbal, en la cual se fabrican caldos, sazones y sopas. Esta multinacional tiene 40 años en el país dedicada a la producción de diferentes marcas a través de las cuales ofrecen productos de consumo diario para la cocina con ingredientes naturales y adquiridos en el mercado local. La delegación fue recibida Pablo Wiechers, en representación de la empresa.
Durante el intercambio y como parte de la socialización se presentaron los aportes de cada empresa en generación de empleos, exportación, uso de tecnologías e innovación dentro del sector, los programas de apoyo y desarrollo para los colaboradores, las iniciativas de aporte a la comunidad y la protección del medio ambiente, además, de las estrategias alineadas al cumplimiento de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS).
El encuentro contó con la participación de representantes del sector gubernamental, encabezados por el ministro de Industria y Comercio, Nelson Toca; por el ministro de Trabajo, Winston Santos; así como el ministro de Defensa, Teniente General Rubén Paulino Sem; el director de la Policía Nacional, Mayor General Ney Aldrin Bautista Almonte, entre otros.
En la visita participaron también más de 20 legisladores, entre estos: José Ulises Rodríguez, Víctor (Ito) Bisonó, Besaida González, Manuel Antonio Díaz, Alexis Jiménez, Alfredo Pacheco, Francisco Liranzo, Elsa de León Abreu, Eduardo Hidalgo, Gloria Reyes, Karen Ricardo, Rafael Tobías Crespo, Sandra Abinader, Ricardo Contreras, Jean Luis Rodríguez, Afif Rizek y Ginette Bournigal.
Por el sector empresarial participaron Pedro Brache y Celso Juan Marranzini, presidentes y del Consejo Nacional de la Empresa Privada (CONEP) y de la Asociación de Industrias de la República Dominicana (AIRD), respectivamente, así como sus vicepresidentes ejecutivos César Dargam y Circe Almánzar; acompañados de los miembros de sus Juntas Directivas, Juan José Attias, Juana Barceló, Juan Amell, Álvaro Sousa, Roberto Despradel, entre otros.
