Forum Sport tira de talento interno para su dirección comercial

Forum Sport vuelve a retocar su organigrama. La cadena vasca de tiendas de artículos deportivos ha modificado su cúpula directiva con el nombramiento de Sonia Cuesta, hasta ahora directora de compras, como responsable del área comercial.

Licenciada en Economía, Cuesta lleva más de quince años trabajando en la cadena. De su dirección dependerán los departamentos de compras y de marca propia, que están englobados en el área comercial, un departamento de nueva creación a principios de 2019. De hecho, Cuesta sustituirá a Aingeru Gabiña, que se incorporó a Forum Sport en enero procedente de márketing de la división de deportes de El Corte Inglés.

La principal responsabilidad de Cuesta será impulsar una oferta comercial más competitiva basada en la omnicanalidad y en la mejora de la experiencia del cliente. Bajo su gestión, se crearán nuevas categorías de productos “con el fin de ofrecer una oferta adecuada a las necesidades y requerimientos de los clientes y que tenga en cuenta la reciente internacionalización de Forum Sport a través de su ecommerce”, afirman desde la compañía.

Forum Sport cuenta con 28 años de experiencia en la venta especializada de material deportivo y está presente en once comunidades autónomas con un total de cincuenta tiendas, una de ellas en régimen de franquicia, tres outlets y 17 establecimientos Dooers, especializados en venta de sneakers.

La sociedad cuenta con Grupo Eroski en su accionariado, mientras que el resto de capital se reparte entre los trabajadores de Forum Sport. La empresa prevé cerrar el año con un crecimiento de 5% y una facturación cercana a los 160 millones de euros.
