Kalil Haché, militar de caballos y deportes,otra víctima del COVID-19
Fallece Kalil Haché víctima del COVID_19. Apasionado de la milicia, del deporte, de los caballos y presidente del Círculo Deportivo de las Fuerzas Armadas y la Policía Nacional, Haché de 88 años, dirigía además la Caballería del Ejército, institución castrense de la que era miembro activo.
Siendo un muchacho apasionado por los caballos, hijo de emigrantes árabes y nacido el primero de abril del año 1932 en la ciudad de San Pedro de Macorís , Kalil Haché soñaba con ser piloto e ingresar a la aviación. Estuvo cerca de su sueño, pero un problema en su vista rápidamente le nubló su futuro de aviador .
Falleció bajo el honor de la inmortalidad deportiva en su natal ciudad . Nunca le dijo “no” a una iniciativa deportiva que haya llegado a sus manos , siempre estuvo dispuesto a servir desinteresadamente al deporte.
En el año 2010 fue exaltado por sus méritos y su contribución al fortalecimiento del deporte.
En reconocimiento a sus aportes, el tradicional clásico hípico Kalil Haché, lleva su nombre, el cual se disputa cada año en el Hipódromo V Centenario.
